Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By using bloomandstem.co (the "site") or placing an order with Bloom and Stem, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What we sell

Bloom and Stem sells hand-arranged cut flowers, standing weekly subscriptions, and event flowers. Availability of specific varieties is not guaranteed; every bouquet is composed from what was cut that week.

3. Orders, cutoffs, and cancellations

  1. Weekly orders must be placed by 12:00 PM Wednesday for Friday delivery of the same week.
  2. Subscriptions may be paused or cancelled from your account at any time before Wednesday noon for that week's delivery.
  3. Event flowers require a signed proposal and a 50 percent deposit to hold the date. The deposit is non-refundable within 60 days of the event.

4. Delivery

We deliver Fridays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM inside Portland city limits and Milwaukie. Deliveries may be left in shaded, weather-protected areas; direct sun and freezing porches are not appropriate and Bloom and Stem is not responsible for damage caused by the drop location the customer selected.

5. Refunds and stem guarantee

If a stem or a bouquet arrives visibly damaged or fails to open within 48 hours, send a photograph to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace the item on the following delivery day, or refund the cost of the affected stems. Refunds beyond the 48-hour window are at our discretion.

6. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites (letterpress printers, venues, other growers). We're not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those sites.

7. Intellectual property

All photography, illustration, and written content on this site is owned by Bloom and Stem unless credited otherwise. You may share links; you may not reproduce content commercially without written permission.

8. User conduct

Please don't scrape, harvest, or otherwise misuse the site. Please don't submit orders in the name of someone who hasn't consented to receive flowers, we've had to cancel a small number of these over the years.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Flowers are a natural product; small variations in color, form, and vase life are part of the medium and are not defects.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloom and Stem's liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Modifications

We may update these terms occasionally. The current version lives at this URL with an updated date at the top.
